i'm katie, an east coast transplant living in the pacific northwest and eagerly challenging the norms of daily life. I gravitate towards the quirky and whimsical, and look to transform the systems around me, whether that’s by designing a speculative future product that pokes fun at consumerism, or cooking free meals for the neighborhood.
it’s vital to me that I fill my life with beauty and joy and my goal as a designer is to help others do so as well!
my favorite topics include horror movies, toy design, theme parks, psychology, food, and traveling anywhere, anytime. in my spare time, catch me with my sweet dog teddy at the beach or doing crosswords with a great cocktail.
